Brynn Dalton

Brynn is the Program Assistant for the Department of Environmental and Global Health. She graduated from the University of Florida in Fall 2019 with a B.S. in Public Relations and a minor in Sociology. Part of Brynn’s position includes helping facilitate Wellness Workdays, wherein faculty, staff and students can break up the work-day with a variety of wellness & health activities over a 4-week program to win prizes and make a difference in their own personal wellness.

Between being a mental health advocate and promoting a healthy lifestyle, wellness holds a very special place in Brynn’s life. As a recent graduate from UF, Brynn is familiar with the stressors that come along with working long days, meeting professional expectations and studying until you literally drop to your feet. Throughout my four years of college, I’ve found that dedicating about an hour of your day to wellness activities (journaling, listening to calming music, exercising, etc.) can make such a huge difference in how you feel mentally and physically each day. My personal favorite wellness activity is listening to John Mayer- something about his voice soothes all of my anxieties!

I’m excited for this year’s Wellness Workdays and we hope to see more participants enjoy everything we have planned.
